H1N1: a Steampunk Story

The H1N1 campaign “A Steampunk Story” is born from the passage of time, from the ticking of the gears. A fascinating and mysterious lineage almost lost in time and space.

Mechanical wings, floating coats, golden corsets and alchemical experiments: this is Steampunk and not only this. A life philosophy, a new way to read the world and to think man, a continuous leap between the past, the present and the future.

H1N1 chose Steampunk to tell a story, the story of a Search.
A continual search, which aims is finding soul’s sparks in the folds of each single day.

“The choice of the Steampunk style has been the realization of our ideas about H1N1” – Francesco Michielotto said – “We were looking for a formula to tell our alchemy, a fall that precedes a rebirth. The meeting with the Steampunk style was apparently casual but changed our vision of the world. Last year, talking to a friend who was opening a Steampunk local in Vilnius, Lithuania, we got in touch for the first time with this philosophy. We immediately realized that it was the solution to our problems, a real Revolution and that it could tell to our customers the true soul of H1N1.”

Steampunk suggests the construction of innovative, technological, futuristic, fascinating, mysterious and useful objects, using fragments and remains of the past.
