H1N1 expands in Eastern Europe
The brand gained extremely positive feedback from Eastern Europe Markets, in particular Romania and Poland.
Romania: the best selling brand
H1N1 was at ISPO, three days dedicated to the best of eyewear, with 370 square meter exhibition, 26 collections, 3500 SKU, 700 of which are registered H1N1 Eyewear.
The result was extremely positive. Our brand was the best selling product, confiming and strenghtening the growth trend of the Romanian market, already started the last october with the presentation at SILMO, in Paris, of new models of eyeglasses ad sun glasses, inspired by a Steampunk setting.
Poland: positive feedback from KRIO Optyca.
After the positive experience in Romania, we have flown to Poland for KRIO Optyca, an important event dedicated to eyewear, which is the main showcase for more than 100 companies.
Here again, we have gained positive feedback, in a buzz market like the Polish market. It is a good atmosphere for eyewear, in particular for H1N1 and the new year 2018.
Moreover, during the event, Polish opticians have expressed their appreciation on investments in the brand marketing and communication. Since the middle of the year, a part of the advertising investments, even on social networks, is dedicated to Poland, with publications in Polish. These investments are confirmed also for 2018.
Eastern Europe: trends
All these good results in Western Europe confirm our will to continue with the expansion of H1N1 and the investments in Romania and Poland and start further new projects in other countries of the area.
Thanks to these two important events, we are able to detect some of the latest trends, which are included in our collection.
The “round” shape, which is included in the Steampunk collection and inspired by it, is recording appreciation, in particular in Romania.
The most preferred materials for frames are light materials like ultra-thin cellulose acetate, titanium and ultem, all represented by our products.
Significant requests of combined plastic/metal frames or totally metal frames are increasing.
The “Sun” collection preference is for flat lenses models, well-represented by our collection.
Our clip-on system meets the public appreciation and is able to convert glasses in sun glasses or driving glasses.
Next appointment: MIDO 2018
Our future projects include our presence at MIDO 2018, a worldwide event for eyewear.
We will be at Fiera di Milano, stand PAD 1 C12, to present new shapes of glasses and sun glasses, inspired by iconic models.
